Peace Weekend at IIMC Redmond In a difficult world, we practice peace. These are challenging times. Many people are feeling stressed, unsettled, or worn down by the pace of daily life. Peace Weekend at IIMC Redmond offers a quiet, supportive space to slow down, steady the mind, and cultivate peace. No prior experience is required. Peace Weekends are held monthly on the third weekend of the month and are open to both beginners and experienced practitioners. Saturday February 21 st & Sunday February 22 nd Whether you are new or returning, you are welcome to join any or all sessions.
SATURDAY 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Introduction to Practice 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Introduction to Buddhism and Buddhist meditation practice. Discussion, reflection, and instruction in simple meditation techniques. Especially suitable for beginners or anyone feeling overwhelmed and looking for a grounded place to begin 12:00 PM — Lunch provided 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM Alternating periods of sitting and walking meditationOne-on-one discussion with the teacher available SUNDAY 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Full Day Retreat Practice Sunday is devoted to meditation practice in a quiet, supportive environment. 9:00 AM – 12:00 PMSitting and walking meditation 12:00 PM — Lunch provided 1:00 PM – 4:00 PMContinued meditation practice.
